This policy explains what data the Impact app collects and how it is used and protected. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, mobile number, email address and password (stored hashed; nobody can read it).
- Insurance data: once your account is activated with a code from the company, the app shows your policies, their files, installments and claims, and insured vehicle details (such as plate and chassis numbers).
- Incident reports: incident type, description, time and place as you enter them, and any photos you attach.
- Service requests: the requested service and any details you write.
- Device data: a push notification token and your app language, used to send you notifications.
The app does not collect your location, does not use advertising or tracking tools, and only accesses the camera or photos when you choose to attach a picture to a report.
How we use your data
- To create your account and link it to your insurance policies.
- To verify your mobile number and reset your password with a code sent on WhatsApp.
- To follow up on your reports and requests and contact you about them.
- To notify you about renewals, installments, new files and claim updates.
Sharing
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Data is shared only:
- With insurance companies, as needed to issue or renew your policies or process claims.
- With technical service providers: Google Firebase for push notifications, a WhatsApp messaging provider for verification codes, and our hosting provider.
- When required by law or a competent authority.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and only authorized staff serving you can access your data.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account at any time inside the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, its notification tokens and notifications. Policy and claim records belong to your company's insurance contracts and are kept by the company as required by legal and contractual obligations.
You can also request deletion of your data through the support page.
Children
The app is intended for the company's individual and business clients and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top will change accordingly.
